The new Sport Pilot License allows you to fly a small light sport aircraft just about anywhere during the day, with one passenger during good weather. The Piper J3 Cub is an ideal sport pilot aircraft. It satisfies all the requirements for sport aircraft while burning an economical 3 gal,hr. It's light and FUN to fly! We provide the latest training materials and equipment to make you the SAFEST sport pilot. What does it take to get this new license? 20 hours total time, 15 hours instruction, 5 hours solo flight. Ground training, take the written test, pass the flight test. This process can take one month or a year, depending on your budget. Cost is about $2500.
