for certificated pilots. GTE's Direct User Access Terminal
Service (GTE DUATS) provides current FAA weather and flight
plan filing services to all certified civil pilots. The
service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at no
charge to the user -- fees to operate the BASIC GTE DUAT
Service (weather briefing, flight plan filing,
encode/decode) are paid by FAA. You need to be a
certificated pilot to use this service.

day. Also text forecasts & links to Alaska TAFs.
